DMAE (2-dimethylaminoethanol) is an amino alcohol produced in miniscule amounts by the human brain. It can also be supplemented by eating oily fish such as sardines, anchovies and salmon (sometimes referred to as ‘brain food’). DMAE has shown to have positive effects on neurological conditions such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Alzheimer’s disease. It is also considered to be an effective antioxidant, membrane stabiliser and active ingredient penetration enhancer, as well as exhibiting excellent anti-inflammatory properties. DMAE helps to alleviate sagging skin from the neck and décolletage by stimulating acetylcholine, a key component in muscle contraction. It also functions as a skin-cell membrane stabiliser and antioxidant; neutralising harmful free radicals that would lead to the ageing of the skin and degradation of skin cells. The graph shows the results of using Firma Derma Serum for 28 days as measured by a cutometer. A cutometer measures skin’s elasticity and firmness by sucking the skin into the cutometer probe.The resistance of the skin to the suction measures skin firmness, whilst the skin’s recovery into its original position measures its elasticity. As presented on the graph, there is a marked increase in both skin firmness and skin elasticity after less than one month of treatment with Firma Derma Serum.

Firma Derma Serum has been formulated for direct application to the neck and décolleté.

In the morning and evening, after cleansing, apply 5-6 drops directly to the skin and blend evenly across the whole neck and décolleté.

Alternatively, place a drop on your finger and massage into the skin. Leave to absorb for 2-3 minutes.
Apply your hydrator as usual after every application.

If using Firma Derma Serum during the day, ensure that an SPF hydrator is applied after every application.

PRECAUTIONS:
If irritation occurs, reduce applications to once daily. If irritation persists, cease use and contact your skincare professional.
